Recycled scrap is transformed into useful new products and materials at the ArcelorMittal Contrecoeur West mini-mill site, located on the St. Lawrence River near Montreal. The facility consists of an electric arc furnace and a bar mill. Primary customers for the plant’s products include steel service centers, rebar manufacturers, the automotive market and the rail industry.
