Steel building systems

'Building well' means meeting the requirements of the Specifications drawn up by the Client according to the Contractor's requirements.

These requirements are numerous and cover not only mechanical, thermal, acoustic, economic and fire behaviour performances but also aesthetics, the speed and ease of installation or the durability of the products. In order to fulfill these requirements, ARVAL, a subsidiary of Arcelor, designs, manufactures and markets roofing profiles, cladding, flooring and insulated sandwich panels that make up complete roof, wall and floor systems. For a long time now, ARVAL has been improving its customer service, by elaborating and validating advanced building systems.

ARVAL Technical Assistance has competent qualified staff, who can offer a wide range of efficient solutions suited to each project, with approved design and testing as well as special software for product application. Having other large building manufacturers as partners, more especially, provides the ability to present wall systems with different degrees of fire resistance, going up to 4 hours, and meets the requirements of the new Acoustic Regulations or the 2000 Thermal Regulations.

ARVAL has, more especially, worked in the field of flooring and has, along with the long product subsidiary of Arcelor, developed the advanced software called globalFloor that provides the ability to economically optimize the 'bearing structure and floor profile' complex.Today, ARVAL can offer special solutions that have been closely examined for diverse markets such as industrial and storage buildings, buildings for housing, food processing, the tertiary sector and farming.

A building guide explaining each building system is available for consultation on the site GlobalFloor.
