The ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions Auto plant is situated at the heart of the Midlands motorway network, ideally placed to service the requirements of the UK’s automotive industry. On its merger with the Arcelor group in 2002, the company was designated as the UK processing unit dedicated to the automotive industry. Training, machinery and systems were developed in order to meet the challenges and opportunities created by UK car and light van manufacturers. We continually meet the ever-increasing demands of the automotive industry.
We realise that service and quality are of overriding importance, and it is to the credit of ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions Auto that by using these principles we supply every UK-based OEM. We work closely with our colleagues within the UK and Europe to ensure that our customers receive the best advice about the structure and suitability of our products. Research and development facilities and staff at the ArcelorMittal steel mills are available to provide customers with technical support and expertise prior to contracts beginning, as well as during production. All of our customers are assigned dedicated teams from within ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions Auto, comprising members of our commercial, operations and quality departments. Each team helps the customer to achieve the very best results using the full range of steel available, and to ensure that the product is received on time, presented safely and correctly.
