Customer involvement session two-way big success

 
 

The Steel Sheet Pile seminar for delegates from Pakistan was held on the 21st and 22nd of September. The seminar was aimed at increasing awareness about products and services offered by ArcelorMittal Foundation Solutions while also serving as a platform for interaction between our Projects team and the end customers. The seminar was hosted by the Projects Middle East team with expert speakers from RPS – Mr. Daniel Dillenburger, Mr. Brunnhuber Matthias and Mr. Thomas Franken - anchor systems expert from Anker Schroder.

There were 17 participants from Pakistan and the cohort included clients, consultants and contractors. Due to worsening of the flood situation in Pakistan, few delegates from the Irrigation department were unable to attend the seminar.

On Day One, we had a general introduction on Foundation Solutions which was followed by a brief technical discussion. There was also a one on one session which addressed project specific queries of the individual participants.

On Day Two, we had presentations on a variety of specific topics like underground car parks, anchor systems and a variety of case studies followed by technical discussions. All discussions were well appreciated by the visitors as well as by the Projects Middle East team; particularly discussions on Flood Protection and Projects Middle East team's adequate solutions were well received. New product developments were also highlighted. The Projects Middle East team is now able to better understand the current concerns of the customers through the interactions, which will definitely be helpful in developing the long-term relationships.

The overall feedback from the attendees of the seminar was very positive and it is important for Projects Middle East to conduct such programs once every few years to understand the customers’ needs better.
