DSTC offers a wide range of steel sheet piles, piling pipes, combined walls, foundation piles and accessories

Steel sheet piles

DSTC has the largest product range, globally. In addition to the classic Z and U piles, Projects provides a range of products designed to economically adapt to specific circumstances.

Z piles (hot rolled and cold formed)

Characterized by the continuous form of the web and the specific location of the interlocks on the outside of the profile, the Z pile offers the most competitive section modulus/ mass ratio.

U piles

U piles have the interlock on the neutral axis. The wide range allows a technically and economically optimum choice for each specific project. The symmetrical form of the single element has made these sheet piles particularly convenient for re-use.

Straight or Flat web sections

Flat web sheet piles are designed to form closed cylindrical structures retaining a soil fill.

Omega piles (cold formed)

The Omega series was designed with optimized section for canalization, permeability cut off wall and riverbank structural protection. They provide an innovative solution to ease sheet piling installation found adjacent to existing building.

Trench sheeting walls

These products, also called RC sections, are used to make continuous walls by overlapping their edges. They are mainly used as sheeting walls for the excavation of trenches.

Combined walls

Tube combined walls

The tube combined wall is a system composed of steel pipes, as primary elements, and double Z sections or U sections as intermediate piles.

The Projects organization produces combined piles by making the tubes at the right length and providing them with interlocks. All necessary welding can be done by our team. Obtaining an elastic section modulus of more than 40,000 cm³/m is not a problem.

HZM/ AZ combined walls

The HZM wall is a system incorporating HZM king piles as structural support and double AZ sheet piles as intermediate elements.

The intermediate sheet piles have only an earth-retaining and load-transfer function and therefore may be shorter than the HZM primary piles.

DSTC also provides: box pile walls and jagged walls.

HP foundation piles

HP bearing piles are hot rolled H beams with the same thickness on both the flange and web. HP piles offer a relatively greater stability of shape during driving, a uniform cross section against corrosion, and a better weight/ perimeter ratio. Bearing piles are required when a structure needs deep foundations (tall structures), or when the soil does not possess the mechanical properties to support the structure. The H-pile shape is most effective at transferring load to the tip, through the pile. In combination with grout injection, the HP piles can be used as tensile anchors, capable to bear the biggest tensile loads. HP piles are also called MV piles.

Piling or Foundation pipes

DSTC has extensive experience in supplying pipes used on amongst others dolphins and mooring posts, and as pillars for bridges. The Projects organization has the exceptional capability to produce spiral-welded pipes up to 53 meters long (without circumferential welds); 3 meter diameter with a wall thickness of up to 25 millimeter. At any given time, we have a large inventory of spiral and longitudinally welded pipe in stock, available for immediate delivery.
