TAB-Raft™
An original solution developed by ArcelorMittal for rafts.
General foundation slabs or rafts are structural elements which support the entire superstructure instead of traditional line or plot foundations.
As a failure of the raft would have significant consequences for the whole structure, safety is of course a major concern. TAB-Raft™ solutions meet this concern without any problem; by providing the foundation slab good and uniform ductility with multiple moment redistribution facilities.
Raft solutions are designed in detail on a case by case basis by WireSolutions engineers in order to offer our customers the best technical and most economical solution available in SFRC. Typical fibre dosage rates for TAB-Raft™ are between 40 and 60 kg/m³.
