In accordance with ArcelorMittal commitments on Health, Safety and the Environment, ArcelorMittal FCE has adopted the following guidelines for its product policy:
- Marketing products whose environmental impact is as low as reasonably possible;
- Ensuring that impacts of products on the whole life cycle are under control;
- Anticipating legal and regulatory requirements;
- Accompanying customers towards more ecological processes and products;
- Promoting recyclable solutions thanks to steel recycling ability.
In accordance with these principles, ArcelorMittal FCE has developed:
- An offer for the Electrical and Electronic sector complying with the RoHS directive (1).
- An offer for the Automotive sector complying with the End of Life Vehicles Directive (2).
In addition, ArcelorMittal FCE has implemented a dedicated project team to address the requirements of the REACH regulation (3), in connection with its customers and suppliers.
