The Maizières-lès-Metz research site is working in close partnership with automotive clients:

• To develop new steel grades and anti-corrosion solutions for future vehicles
• To prepare innovative, long-term material solutions
• To develop user manuals and technical instructions to help our clients in the use of new products
• To provide technical assistance: material databases, homologations, technical product files etc.

The Montataire research site is working in close partnership with automotive clients:

• To facilitate the use of steel in cars and propose new steel solutions for our clients
• To develop research activities in the field of design and simulation of structures, forming, joining, tailored blanks and multi-material solutions
• To validate the proposed solutions thanks to different tests and manufacturing of prototypes
• To develop forming technique processes as roll forming & bending, hot & cold stamping, and hydroforming
• To provide technical assistance for clients in the fields of forming and assembling

Both research teams work in close collaboration. They dispose of state-of-the-art installations for simulation, analyses, homologation, tests, forming techniques, assembling, painting, corrosion etc.
