The trend toward shapely packaging

In recent years, in addition to decorating the packaging, designers and manufacturers are looking for new shapes to catch consumers’ attention. In steel packaging, two main techniques are largely used. First, mechanical expansion reinforces both the appearance and convenience of the product. Lenticular sheets provide striking 3D effects that catch the eye. Finally, all of these techniques can be used on 3 piece steel cans, with symmetrical or asymmetrical effects, and on 2-piece cans.
