ArcelorMittal Frýdek-Místek takes care of employee’s children

In March the multipurpose sports hall in Frýdek-Místek was crowded with children of ArcelorMittal employees. CEO, Tomáš Mischinger in conjunction with the ice hockey club HC Frýdek-Místek prepared for them a Sunday morning full of attractions on the ice rink.
Brave boys could play ice hockey others took part in slalom speed contests or hurdle rides. The winners were awarded free tickets to local water park but nobody came home barehanded as all participants received a candy treat.
Even some parents could not resist the fun on the ice, ice hockey being the major attraction for them. ArcelorMittal Ostrava held such an event for the third consecutive time. “I think the employees show a great interest in the event just because it is an event intended for whole families,” says about the event one of its organizers, Hana Blažková. “We managed to put together sport and entertainment quite well so, it turned into an easily accessible winter sports activity both for our employees and their children, e.g. in comparison with skiing. We believe that this event is becoming a good tradition at our company that’s why we would like to hold it in the next season again,” promises Blažková.
