ArcelorMittal Gent is a fully integrated steel plant. This means that all successive production steps take place on our company premises, from the unloading of raw materials down to and including the shipment of finished products such as galvanised or painted coils. The various production departments are responsible for the maintenance of their facilities, but there is also a centralised maintenance section which is responsible for cranes and vehicles for instance or for the maintenance of measuring equipment and communication devices.
