ArcelorMittal General Purchasing Conditions
In order to contribute to the smooth integration of Arcelor SA and Mittal Steel Company NV, we have updated our standard general terms & conditions of purchase.
The general purchasing conditions set out below will be familiar to many of our suppliers, as they are based upon documents previously published on this web page. Provisions related to safety, intellectual property, penalties/damages have been revised slightly. There are new clauses dealing with fraud and corruption. Some further cosmetic changes have been made to reflect the structure of the new company.
As of the 16 November 2006, our purchasing and legal teams have been deploying these updated conditions throughout the Group and I would be grateful for your continued support in this endeavour.
