Total Offer Processing (TOP) at ArcelorMittal is a business unit of Distribution Solutions.
TOP is a total offer supplier in steel work. Our offer integrates the conception, production and customised logistics of steel components and solutions for major industrial sectors (with the exception of the automotive sector). We are specialised in specific markets and have developed an end-user know-how of market requirements.
Our commercial and industrial strategy consists of assisting our customers in their expansion, including internationally, and by investing in the countries in which they are present.
We are uncompromising when it comes to safety and we are constantly in search of best practices in terms of productivity and quality.
ArcelorMittal's TOP is currently present in 10 countries with a total of 30 sites. In 2008, 4 new sites opened in Poland, China, Egypt and India. 2008 turnover exceeded €400 million, representing some 200,000 tons of steel shipments.
ArcelorMittal's TOP is divided into 3 main specialised activities in the target markets:
- Heavy gauge (thickness of sheets > 8 mm), serving customers who are leaders in the following markets: railway, fork-lift trucks, public works and agricultural machines.
- Thin gauge (thickness of sheets < 8 mm) serving customers who are leaders in the following markets: heavy goods vehicles, electrical applications, lifts, air-conditioning, heating and new energies.
- Specialities, a specific activity which promotes the requirements for special transformed steels (stainless steel, aluminium, technical steel). The target markets are environment, agro-business and petrochemicals.
