Governance
Building sustainable supply chains in Brazil
Today's challenge
The adoption of corporate responsibility (CR) varies a good deal between different industries, and different countries. For instance in Brazil public support for CR is very high (91% of opinion-formers are interested in this area), and some of its domestic CR organizations - like Instituto Ethos - are genuine role models for how business' involvement in communities can be encouraged. However, it can be challenging to persuade managers of medium and small enterprises to introduce sustainability into their management processes.
