The ArcelorMittal Engineering Products Ostrava s.r.o. is a manufacturing and repair unit of ArcelorMittal Ostrava. It renders services not only to other plants and departments in this company, but also to its partners within the ArcelorMittal Group as well as to domestic and foreign customers.

The plant focuses on the engineering and foundry production. The basic engineering product range includes machine parts and equipment, steel structures and wheel sets. The foundry product range consists of steel and cast-iron castings.

Other important activities of the Plant are repairs of electric machinery; designing; delivery, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment; repairs of vehicles, building and rebuilding work, relining work and the maintenance of refractory lining.

In support of the above activities as well as beyond them, the Plant offers metrology, non-destructive testing, inspection and testing of machinery, electrical equipment and structures. The Plant also includes a metrology centre with an accredited calibration laboratory, and a work centre for the training of welders. Apart from these it renders accommodation services.

In recognition of its manufacturing activities and repairs, the Plant has been awarded a number of certificates by reputable certification bodies. Its processes are regularly reviewed by TÜV NORD.
