The biggest advantage for Vratimov is the fact that thanks to the heat supplies it was possible for all the town‘s boiler stations burning fossil fuels to be shut down. Such a proposal is unacceptable for any producer. I must point out that we have repeatedly proposed that our cost be audited by an independent auditor. We have also offered to accept the same margin that EVS uses on its products made of the hot metal we supply. The drilling and concreting of boreholes for reinforced concrete piles have been completed. “The piles will support the steel structure of the bag filters hall. As this is a complex technology, it was necessary to drill 14 boreholes, 22 meters deep and with 1.2 meters diameter,” explains Ivo Psota of Project Management. Today the representatives of ArcelorMittal Ostrava have given the school five computers worth 72 thousand crowns. “Thanks to the gift we are able to replace our old computers in the computer classroom. The new computers will allow us to make the lessons more practical as our pupils will be able to participate directly and we will be able to use new educational programmes. Representatives of the company ArcelorMittal Ostrava gave the school an interactive board with accessories worth CZK 95 thousand. “We are going to use the board for the education in junior classes in different subjects. We do appreciate the gift from the steel company as it will make lessons more colorful. Our teachers will have a change to present their subjects in more entertaining way. Children will look forward to such lessons, which will increase their interest in the subjects,” explains the headmistress of the basic school Miroslava Klančíková.
