Even though Arcelor - Mittal is a young group, it has an old tradition of social and environmental responsibility. It is in this perspective that the Group has designed an ambitious project in the matter of Sustainable Development. The strategy is based on the so called 4P's, People, Profit, Planet, Partner, and has been studied to render coherent our economic, social and environmental objectives amongst themselves in an atmosphere of a true and real relationship of reciprocal give and take with our Partners.

The achievement of our ambition is measured through a several performance indicators articulated according to eight priority axles/. These performance indicators exist not only at Group level but also in each and every industrial site.
