Sanjay Samaddar

Chairman of the BOD of ArcelorMittal Poland, CEO of FCE Business Division East

Sanjay Samaddar assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of ArcelorMittal Poland and the CEO of Business Division East of Flat Carbon Europe on 1st of June 2009.

His relation with the steel industry goes back to 2003 when he joined the steel plant at Galati, Romania as Director Sales & Marketing. In July 2005 he became the Sales and Marketing Director and BOD member of Mittal Steel Poland. In December 2006, consequent to the formation of ArcelorMittal, he was appointed Chief Marketing Officer for Eastern Europe, with responsibility for sales from the mills in Romania, Poland and Czech Republic. In March 2008 Sanjay Samaddar was appointed CEO & Chairman of the Board of ArcelorMittal Ostrava. From June 2009 to January 2012, he was holding the position of CEO of ArcelorMittal Poland.

Prior to joining the steel sector, Sanjay has been associated with the Aluminium industry in India in various leadership roles.

Manfred Van Vlierberghe

CEO, member of the BOD of ArcelorMittal Poland

Manfred Van Vlierberghe was appointed CEO of ArcelorMittal Poland on January 19th, 2012.

He has been working for ArcelorMittal since 1995, after he joined ArcelorMittal Gent, where he held various managerial positions, including the position of deputy manager of the steel melting shop and management of Twinning projects. Recently he was the COO of primary operations at ArcelorMittal Bremen. From December 2010 to January 2012, he was holding the position of COO of ArcelorMittal Poland.

Manfred graduated from the University of Louvain (KUL), department of Electro-mechanics. He also completed MBA studies at Ecole Solvay Brussels School of Management and Economics.

Stefan Dzienniak

Director of External Affairs, Environment and Special Projects, member of the BOD of ArcelorMittal Poland

The entire professional career of Stefan Dzienniak is connected with the steel industry. He started working in Huta Cedler as an intern  then he was employed in Huta Katowice, where he got acquainted with all managerial levels. Since 10 years he has been occupying managerial positions in Huta Katowice SA, Polskie Huty Stali SA and ArcelorMittal Poland SA: from rolling mill manager, production director, COO of the steel plant. Since 2005 he has been a BOD.member of ArcelorMittal Poland.

Stefan Dzienniak is a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Organization and Management Faculty.  He is a member of many economic, social and academic comittees among others: member of National Ecological Council, member of Scientific Council of  Institute for Ferrous Metallurgy, chairman of steering committee of Polish Technological Platform of Steel, member of Health Care Foundation, member of Business Council at President of Dabrowa Górnicza, member of the Metallurgical Chamber of Industry and Commerce, member of Polish Association Of Metallurgical Engineers And Technicians, member of Academic and Economic Steel association.

Surojit Kumar Ghosh

Director of Commercial and Corporate Affairs, member of the BOD of ArcelorMittal Poland, CFO of FCE Business Division East

Surojit Ghosh assumed the position of Director of Commercial and Corporate Affairs within ArcelorMittal Poland on December 1st, 2011. Additionally, since June 2009, he has held the position of CFO of FCE Business Division East.

Surojit joined the ArcelorMittal Group in May 2004 at Lazaro Cardenas (Mexico) as Controller. Mid 2005 he moved to Romania as CFO with additional responsibility for Government Relations as Country Manager.

Effective 2007 he was holding the position of CFO ArcelorMittal Eastern Europe and Poland and led creation of first financial Shared Service Centre in Eastern Europe. From June 2009 to December 2011, Surojit held the position of CFO of ArcelorMittal Poland.

Czesław Sikorski

Executive Director of Primary, Executive Director of Zdzieszowice Coke Plant, member of the BOD of ArcelorMittal Poland

Czesław Sikorski assumed the position of Executive Director of Primary in October 2011. He was appointed member of the Board of Directors of ArcelorMittal Poland in July 2009.
All his professional life has revolved around Zdzieszowice coke plant, where he started in 1979 as foreman. He then assumed various positions within ZKZ – from deputy plant head to deputy COO. In 1996 he became CEO and in 1999 – BOD chairman. From 1999 to 2010 he held the position of CEO and BOD chairman of ZK “Zdzieszowice”.

Czeslaw graduated from AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, with Master’s degree in Chemistry. He also completed a number of postgraduate studies, among which were coke processing and Coking and Industrial Plant Management – both at AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.

He is a co-author of a number of inventions and solutions in the scope of coking equipment and technologies lowering the environmental impact of coking industry.

Andrzej Wypych

Member of the BOD of ArcelorMittal Poland

Andrzej Wypych was appointed member of the Board of Directors of ArcelorMittal Poland in July 2009.
Since 2005 till June 2012 HR Director of ArcelorMittal Poland S.A. Also a member of problem-solving team for labour law and collective agreements of Tri-partite Committee for Social and Economic Issues representing Confederation of Polish Employers; deputy chairman of Association of Steel Industry Employers.
Andrzej started his professional career at  International Paper Kwidzyn S.A., where he was Director for Employee Issues and member of the Board of Directors. He has a great deal of experience in HR management; he also took active part in privatization of International Paper Kwidzyn S.A.

Andrzej holds Master’s degree from Electric Department of Gdansk University of Technology. He also completed postgraduate studies in HR Management.
