Ref.: Price evolution for sections in Q1 / 2010
To our valued customers,
ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections S.A. will introduce new size extras applicable for deliveries as of 01.01.2010.
The changes compared to the current size extras (01.01.2009) are as follows:
+ 30 €/t for the small, medium and heavy section ranges (categories 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7).
The new size extras will become an integral part of ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections’ price list.
In addition, we forecast the scrap surcharge for January to rise again compared to December. As a matter of fact, scrap prices are bottoming out and we foresee a sustainable and progressive upward movement of scrap prices through Q1-2010.

Ref.: Price evolution for sections in Q4- 2009
To our valued customers,
Section demand has been improving throughout Q3 and is expected to continue on a firming path in the coming months.
Prices have passed the bottom reached in Q2-2009 and are currently following an upward trend,driven by rising input costs as a consequence of a revival of steel demand across the industry.
Against this background, ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections will apply the following base price increase for orders as of October 1st 2009 shipments:
+25 €/t on the small, medium and heavy size range.

Scrap related pricing mechanism on beams
Referring to the October scrap price evolution in the European scrap market (particularly in grades relevant for beam production) ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections S.A. will apply a scrap surcharge of:
75 EUR / t
on all beams and sections deliveries as per November 1st, 2009.
This surcharge is applicable as a complement to our current price list dated May 1st 2009, and is an integral part of this list.
This surcharge takes into account a 10% yield loss of scrap in the steel production process.
Noteworthy that the November scrap surcharge is going back to a similar level as applied during the month of August 2009 (76€/t).

Ref.: Price evolution for sections in Q2- 2009
To our valued customers,
Section prices have bottomed out throughout Europe and are currently on the rise, triggered by the recent upturn of scrap prices as well as an improvement of demand.
After a first step of price increases, as per announcement dated April 3rd 2009 referring to the implementation of new size extras, ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections will apply the following additional increase as of June 1st 2009 shipments:
+40 €/t on the small, medium and heavy size range.

To our valued customers,
ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections will apply with immediate effect new size extras on merchant bars.
The changes compared to the current size extras (01.04.2008) are as follows:
+ 25€/t for all sizes
The new size extras will become an integral part of ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections’ price list.

Ref.: Price evolution for sections in Q2- 2009
To our valued customers,
Since the end of Q3-2008, section prices have been on a downward path impacted by the financial crisis and the following global economic turmoil.
ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections expects this negative trend to bottom out and a turnaround of prices will start in May 2009.
The reversal will be induced by the necessity of gradually rebuilding prices in order to restore profitability of businesses in the whole value chain.
In a first step, ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections S.A. will therefore apply the new dimensional extras as announced for 2009 on all sections deliveries as of May 1st 2009.
The changes compared to the current size extras (01.01.2008) are as follows:
+ 25 €/t for categories 0, 1, 2, 3 , A3 and C4.
+ 30 €/t for categories D4, E4, 5, 6 and 7
The new size extras will become an integral part of ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections’ price list.
