Structural Steels - Construction Steels
This group is composed of steel types S185, S275 and S355. These steels are not specifically alloyed, they present a good weldability and do not normally need pre or post heat treatment.
They are mainly used in construction, industry and urban real estate: streetlights, stairs, containers, cladding, plaques, road fences, etc.
CHARACTERISTICS:
- Chemical composition and mechanical characteristics as per EN 10025.
- Mechanical properties (Re, Rm, A and Hardness), they also have very acceptable toughness values.
- They are steels that can be folded, but are not suitable for deep drawing.
