Replacement of the existing old retaining wall in Kleinmachnow

The stability of the old cantilever sheet pile wall of the access basin to the Kleinmachnow lock was at risk. A land side caused by the measured movement of the structure would engender major obstructions of the lock’s northern chamber. The existing old retaining wall was therefore replaced by an 111-m long sheet pile wall consisting of 15.5 to 16.5-m AZ 28 piles in steel grade S 355 GP. The Z-piles were installed with a hydraulic press to avoid noise and vibrations.

La stabilité de l'ancien rideau de palplanche autostable de l'avant-port de l'écluse de Kleinmachnow n'était plus d'un niveau de sécurité suffisant. Suite à la constatation du  déplacement de la structure, un effondrement de la berge était à craindre ayant pour conséquence le blocage du bassin nord de l'écluse.

Les 111 mètres de rideau ont donc été remplacés par un nouveau linéaire en profil AZ 28 de nuance S355 GP et de longueur 16,5 et 15,5 m. Le chantier étant situé en zone sensible, la technique du vérinage a été choisie pour le mise en œuvre des palplanches.

 

 
 

Côté eau, l'ancien rideau de palplanche autostable, qui sera arraché après l'achèvement de la nouvelle structure.
Nouveau rideau de soutènement ancré; en arrière plan la stabilité du talus est assurée par des pieux utilisant la technique du cloutage.

Die alte, unverankerte Stahlspundwand im unteren Vorhafen der Schleusenanlage Kleinmachnow war nicht mehr standsicher.
Aufgrund festgestellter Bauwerksbewegungen war eine Hangrutschung nicht mehr auszuschließen, die zu einer Vollsperrung der Nordkammer der Schleuse Kleinmachnow geführt hätte. Daher wurde die vorhandene alte Ufereinfassung auf 111m Länge in Spundwandbauweise mit Profil AZ 28 in Stahlsorte S 355 GP und Längen von 16,5/15,5 m ersetzt.
Da wegen der exponierten Lage als Einbauverfahren das Einpressen erforderlich war, sind hier Z- Profile zum Einsatz gekommen.

Nel bacino d’accesso alla chiusa di Kleinmachnow si era verificato che la parete di sponda, realizzata mediante palancole metalliche non tirantate, era a rischio. Avendo appurato un cedimento della struttura, si temeva un crollo che avrebbe, di fatto, bloccato l’accesso al bacino nord della chiusa.

Si è, quindi, deciso di procedere alla sostituzione dei 111 metri lineari di parete con palancole AZ28 in lunghezze variabili tra i 15,5 m ed i 16,5 m, in qualità S 355 GP. Le palancole, con sezione Z, sono state infisse mediante una pressa idraulica che ha consentito di evitare rumore e vibrazioni.

 

 
 

Lato acqua, vecchia parete in palancole non tirantate che verrà rimossa dopo l’installazione della nuova.
Nuova parete di contenimento ancorata; la stabilità del pendio retrostante è garantita da pali.
