AS 500 Straight Web Steel Sheet Piles

Straight web steel sheet piles have been produced for more than 100 years already and are used successfully in large civil engineering projects on worldwide scale. They are designed to be used as circular or diaphragm cell retaining structures.

New GU Sheet piles 2009

The development of an improved GU hot rolled sheet pile produced in Dabrowa, Poland, was triggered by the amazing success of the existing GU 600 range in new markets.

Major development was to modify the interlock shape such to become fully compliant with the ArcelorMittal LARSSEN interlock already produced in the sheet pile rolling mills in Belval and Rodange, Luxembourg.

HZ Wall System

The HZ wall is a combined system incorporating:
-HZ king piles as structural supports
-AZ sheet piles as intermediate infill elements

All combinations are based on the same principle: structural supports comprimising one or more HZ king pile sections alternating with intermediate double AZ sheet pile sections.

PU-R Sections

Three new PU-R sections (with rolled-up and down profiles) have been introduced in the market during 2008. The sections are 600 mm, respectively 675 mm wide, and are intended to replace the old PU 6 and PU 8 (whose production has been discontinued end of 2007), and the PU 12.

Arcelor Mittal runs two mills manufacturing hot rolled steel sheet piles: Esch/Alzette in Luxembourg, and Dabrowa in Poland.
Formerly known as ‘Huta Katowice’, the mill in Poland produces hot rolled U-shaped steel sheet piles and other long products.
