In the classic Lavet watch movement, the stator and core are both produced from Nickel Alloys with excellent stampability. The stator is stamped from SP 510 or an 80% Nickel alloy, as their low coercive force means very low energy consumption so a longer lasting battery. The cores are stamped from Supra 50 SP or Supra 50 G – the high saturation flux density of these materials allows a reduction in volume of the parts concerned
