18 October 2007 - ArcelorMittal Stainless Europe opens a new stainless steel flat products service centre in Poland.
Jean-Yves Gilet, EVP ArcelorMittal and CEO Stainless, officially opened the new stainless steel flat products service centre of its subsidiary, ArcelorMittal Stainless Service Poland, located in Siemianowice Śląskie, north of Katowice.
5 October 2007 - ArcelorMittal Stainless Europe will change the reference period used in the alloy surcharge calculation.
ArcelorMittal Stainless Europe will change the reference period used in the alloy surcharge calculation for deliveries starting 1 January 2008. Currently, this period is based on M-2 / M-3, M being the delivery month. The new reference period will be from the 23rd of M-2 to the 22nd of M-1.

ArcelorMittal - Stainless is an active member of a research project called Next Generation Vehicle. Sustainability requires a new concept for the car industry. Stainless steel can provide solutions for reducing the weight of cars, responding to this challenge of sustainability through new designs.
