Do you prefer a roof which patinates progressively over time or are you more oriented towards an instant matt appearance after installation? We recognise the specialist needs in this sector, addressing two key decision makers:
- Meet the users' expectations in respect of performance (long service life) and aesthetics (attractiveness)
- Enable freedom of creativity in respect of concept and design from an architectural perspective
Both require choice from stainless steel solutions which we offer from our extensive range of products for all types of roofing application, warm and cold constructions, self-supporting systems, profiled trays as well as fully supported traditionnal techniques such as standing seam and batten roll designs.
Our FTE and AME brands consist of both ferritic and austenitic stainless steel grades, which are coated both sides with a layer of tin. This layer enables a patina to be acquired upon exposure to the natural atmosphere, providing a natural, traditional and rustic touch to roof coverings. This weathered appearance lends itself to most environments in terms of performance and ensures an appearance which blends perfectly with building concepts in various media thanks to its matt grey look.
- FTE is produced from our KARA ferritic stainless steels: K41 or K44 terne-coated both sides
- AME is produced from an austenitic stainless steel 18-11 ML also double-sided terne coated.
The advantages of our dedicated product offer:
- Easily solderable
- Cold working at low temperature
- For AME, heightened corrosion resistance, appropriate for areas with agressive atmospheres.
