The hut TOPALI is a gem for discerning climbers and lovers of architecture: the envelop is constructed out of stainless steel UGITOP® 18-9E (1.4301).

UGITOP® for exceptional requirement
Due to its weather resistance, Ugitop® is the ideal choice for extreme requirements. UGITOP® is resistant to atmospheric changes, has a low environmental impact and is 100% recyclable. The extraordinary UGITOP® envelope protects against bad weather and has a modern and elegant appearance.
2 grades are available with a UGITOP® surface finish:
  • 1.4301: the standard product for roofing.
  • 1.4404 for use where specific corrosion resistant properties are required.
Our products are available in the standard dimensions for roofing. Both grades are available in coils and sheets form in 0.4 and 0.5mm thicknesses and from 500mm to 1 250mm in width. Our mills do have the capacity to supply up to 2000mm in width. Please contact us for more information.

The Topali hut is a gem for the discerning climbers.
The TOPALI hit belonging to the Geneva branch of the Swiss Alpine Club, is located at an altitude of 2 700m above St. Niklaus. Sleeping 44 people, the inside is simple and comfortable, with a fully-equipped modern kitchen. The French magazine ELLE Déco, special edition of January 2009, carries an article on this TOPALI hut. You can find the article on-line
