Application Process

Because funding requests largely exceed what we are able to financially support, we accept applications by invitation only. We identify community organizations that provide programs in at least one of our three focus areas, the communities where our employees live and work, and where we feel we can make the most impact.

If you have been invited to apply for an ArcelorMittal grant, apply by clicking one of the links below:

If you have not yet been invited to apply for one of our grants but feel you fit our giving criteria and should be considered, you must first submit a letter of inquiry (LOI). Please do not send a completed application. Be sure to read our giving guidelines to see if you are eligible and closely align for funding from ArcelorMittal. Your LOI narrative must be no more than two pages and clearly outline the mission of your organisation, detail your project and state why you believe it fits within ArcelorMittal's giving guidelines. Please include a brief sentence explaining your expected outcomes, community to be served, and how you will measure the program. Click here to submit a LOI

Grant Reporting

ArcelorMittal requires annual grant outcome reports. Every calendar year, we report globally on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including the number of beneficiaries supported through grantmaking in the United States. Starting in 2011, all annual reports for grants awarded in FY2011 will be due by December 31 and should reflect the program and outcomes achieved within that calendar year, regardless of the date the grant was made.
